  ➤Project: London General Surgical Skills Programmehttps://www.imperial.ac.uk/medicine/london-general-surgical-skills-programme/I develop and produce medical models which facilitate the practice of surgical techniques in a lab setting (designs for senior surgical trainees ST3-ST6).➤Key responsibilities: →Prototyping based on MRI/CT Scans, 3D Printing, cadaveric teaching sessions, sculpting techniques and scientific feedback-reviews.→Introduction of new materials, tools and methods to improve the quality as well as the time & cost efficiency of the processes (highly interested in the texture, consistency and color of the living tissues)→Production, assembling and supervision. Producing batches of components which demonstrate commitment to the highest standards of fidelity and accuracy (usually batches of 100-150 for medium sized pieces).
