USACE Districts she has served include: SWG, SWF, SWT, SAS, MVK, MVM, MVN, NAN and NWS. Ms. New also serves as a Senior Geologist with extensive experience in environmental studies and evaluations; NEPA studies; Phase I, Phase II and Phase III environmental site assessments; environmental impact statements, CATEX, natural and cultural resources; compliance audits; pollution prevention; investigation and corrective action support; GIS support; environmental training; public interaction/hearings; regulatory interface including permit applications and community involvement; stratigraphy; geomorphology; groundwater and soil site assessments; regulatory compliance negotiations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA, SARA, TSCA, NEPA); environmental risk-mitigation-litigation technical advisement and expertise; oilfield (NOW/NORM/Chloride) assessments, closures and certifications; risk-based (RECAP, RBCA, Soil Screening) closures; surface water (NPDES) site assessments; GIS analysis and remediation.
