This role involved extensive interaction with people in the local area, either with Refugee status or those hoping to gain such status. I helped teaching English, aiding in applications for school/work/financial support, traveling with clients to the Police Station and Job Centre and any other tasks required of me. I also worked in the office talking to people on the phones, translating, carrying out any administrative work needed of me and learning the ropes of the day-to-day management of the charity.
