  Pushing infrastructure-as-code by leaveraging Ansible to handle traditional VM workload, K8s (Openshift) for more modern containerized applications. Ansible and K8s based application accessing HashiCorp Vault cluster with Jenkins building a centralized component providing user-integrations for K8s, Nexus, SonarQube, Gitea. Jenkins is powered by a Jenkins shared library to provide extended CI pipelines and CD using Helm Charts feeded by ArgoCD Gitops like configurations for QA and PROD environments. Custom built Ansible based K8s operator provides a developer-domain specific configuration interface to easily deploy applications and integrate them in the given infrastructure, including Vault credentials, storage and logging.Operating is focused on DSpace 5 with CRIS (4science), which runs on VMs and trying to make it HA by refactoring code and introducing container influenced mechanisms for a future K8s only deployment (Only DevEnvs deployed to K8s atm.).Developed a digital signature service for PDFs complying to the Austrian standard (Amtssignatur), based on two different back-ends. Doing project management, communication with Austrian companies and government offices.Held workshops for developers to introduce a DevOps oriented workflow by motivating them to leverage the given infrastructure by providing appropriate GIT configuration mechanisms and processes.
