Job Purpose-To maximize sales opportunities whilst minimizing stock and supply chain related cost, liaising with DC planning departments/suppliers/Sales department and customers to maximize stock flow efficiencies from suppliers to the customers within supply chain capacities.Main activities and responsibilities:• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data• Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers• Utilise a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software (NetStock/Sage ) as the primary forecasting system tool• To achieve annually agreed availability targets ,DC to customers service and annual supplier service level target based on inbound volume and service standards• To achieve annually agreed working cap target• Responsible for replenishment of approx 100 SKU's/products • Performance monitoring of approx 20 suppliers against agreed service criteria• Responsible for ensuring that supply chain calculations are checked and within acceptable parameters for the forecast and replenishment data to process the required movement of stock.• Responsible for ensuring the forecast and replenishment workbenches are cleared on a daily basis in order for the smooth execution of the replenishment process. • In conjunction with the Planning department, maintains replenishment cycles/planning calendars for all channels within Netstock /Sage to enable an accurate, smooth stock flow through the DC
