During this role I am required to work full-time 39 hour weeks. Within this role I have gained great experience providing a high standard of quality care to children from ages 6 weeks - 5 years. I have worked closely with all age groups and have in-depth knowledge of Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence. As the manager of my room, I ensure myself and my team are providing a high standard of care for children and parents providing stimulating activities everyday both indoors and out, ensuring the children's interests and needs are met. Each day I complete and monitor nappy changes, food preparation and sleeps as well as the smooth running of activities and nursery outings. I enjoy being creative with the children, allowing them to grow and develop with my support and guidance. I provide social, emotional and physical support to all children I care for, ensuring they feel appreciated, safe and listened to. Running a team has provided me with a high standard of organisation, leadership and communication and I work very confidently independently and as part of a team. Show less
