  Whilst serving my time in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as an Infantry Soldier, my primary focus was on mastering warfighting and all the skills that come with it, including weapon handling, army first aid, navigation, and domestic and foreign policy. During my service, I was deployed on Operation Bushfire Assist 2019-2020, which allowed me to put my non-warfighting soldiering skills to work through Defence's commitment to civil aid in the community and emergency services. After the successful completion of this operation, I achieved my Subject 1 for Corporal, and I was subsequently promoted to Lance Corporal, which placed me in positions of administration and training in the barracks environment, as well as leadership, tactics, and planning in the field environment. These experiences have honed my skills in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication, which I believe are valuable for any employment setting.
