I am on a quest to bring art back into advertising by providing a strategic conduit between traditional artists and brands/businesses. The elevator pitch is this. No one looks at marketing anymore. Emails, videos, banner ads, graphics, informational handouts - thanks to a disposable creation process, it is all the same. Advertising, especially digital advertising, is expected, redundant and, to be honest, a nuisance. I was lucky enough to work on exciting accounts that created globally recognized advertising, both traditional and interactive. I learned the ins and outs of everything, from the complexity of the creative process to how to manage multiple departments. As a content manager, I was responsible to ensure the creative, production, traffic, account, and planning departments worked together in a timely manner to deliver ad campaigns that actually grew business during the "recession." We won some awards, so that was cool too. While some people leave CP+B bitter, I'm glad I had the chance to experience the "factory" in all its glory. Show less
