Not Impossible Labs, the award-winning technology incubator and content studio created MUSIC: NOT IMPOSSIBLE, a vibro-textileTM wearable that creates an immersive experience of music. Originally inspired by and designed for the deaf community, Music:Not Impossible went beyond its initial scope bringing people together for a shared experience regardless of abilities. Music:Not Impossible was recently named one of TIME's 2023 Best Inventions. In my current role as the Head of Business Development & Strategy at Music: Not Impossible, my focus is on developing and executing a clear and comprehensive strategy that includes a roadmap for product development, marketing, and scaling. At the same time, continuously developing and refining messaging & branding strategies with information collected on the field and that effectively resonates with M:NI’s target audiences. Establishing strategic partnerships with organizations, institutions, and businesses in the deaf community and other target audiences while fostering an inclusive ecosystem. Show less

Dec 2020 - Present
The mission of the WBDC is to support economic prosperity for women and strengthen communities through entrepreneurial and financial education services that create and grow sustainable jobs and businesses. From starting or growing a business to increasing income, the Women’s Business Development Council drives business success in a tangible and accessible way.As a Board Member, I promote the organization in order to raise visibility and advocate its mission within the community through active outreach targeting minority-women-owned businesses and within my own social network. Along with other members of the board, I provide collaborative oversight and guidance to the CEO in order to set/ensure strategic direction, mission, and goals. This was particularly important during COVID when the WBDC was awarded substantially higher amounts of state and city funds to ensure the survival of existing women-owned businesses and creation of more daycare openings to allow women to continue working.
