  I am currently a Public Information Officer with the Corporate Communications Bureau. I am one of four police officers who deal with external communications between the Peel Regional Police Service and various print, radio and television media. I write press releases, mediate press conferences and attend various scenes to interview with media. I maintain the service's Facebook page and engage in our Twitter and Facebook accounts.

  I have been employed by Peel Regional Police since 1990, having moved to policing from Correctional Services. During my tenure with Peel Regional Police, I have worked in Uniform Patrol (4 years), the Criminal Investigation Bureau (3 years), Regional Child Abuse/Sexual Assault Unit (6 Years), Offender Management Unit (3 years), Forensic Identification Unit ( 8 years) and am currently assigned to the Corporate Communications Media Relations Unit where I work as a Public Information Officer. I have also instructed at in-service training courses and lectured at the Ontario Police College. I have taught at Sheridan College, both in Brampton and Oakville. Show less
