I'm honored to offer this sincere endorsement for my close friend Fiston Muganda. Fiston has been a fantastic brother, English tutor, and mentor to me. His strong companionship, support, and advise have made a significant difference in my life. Fiston was instrumental in paving the way for my enthusiasm for technology in addition to being an excellent English instructor and mentor. Fiston has inspired me and given me the skills and information I need to start this exciting path through his mentorship. I will always be appreciative of Fiston's constant support and the impact he has had on both my professional and personal development. He is a priceless resource because of his commitment, knowledge, and sincere concern for his mentees. As he did for me, Fiston will certainly continue to make a good difference in the lives of others and inspire them to pursue their ambitions. Kudos, Muganda.

I first met Fiston Muganda in 2020, when I was assisting with a 3-week (~45 hours) online training through the International Bateson Institute. Since that time, we have communicated regularly about projects in which he was involved and about various plans for his future goals. Fiston is a remarkable person in many ways. He has had his life turned completely upside-down by war in his home country and the loss of his family and his whole life’s trajectory. He suffered through capture and torture, but escaped and regained a whole new life with incredible resilience. Through so much hardship he has deepened his empathy and compassion, and has develop a strong desire to help others who have suffered from upheavals in their lives. In addition to being a polyglot (he can communicate in many different languages), he is a driven learner and inquirer. His studies at university came to a screeching halt when warfare spread through the Democratic Republic of Congo, yet, since his escape, he has found multiple ways to continue learning in a variety of fields. He is a brilliant young man, with an amazingly positive and constructive attitude towards his own life and the lives of others. I have spent most of my life in the field of education. If I were to compare him to the thousands of students I have known, he would rank in the top 3%. But, even then, it is the rare person who is not only intelligent, but is also thoughtful, inquisitive, creative, and driven to learn as much as possible.
