Completed the Humanity in Action human & minority rights fellowship in summer 2018, and then completed an Action Project to become a Senior Fellow. Throughout the fellowship: - deep-dived in Danish democratic engagement, minority rights, notion of inclusivity, experiences of racism and explored my own positionality on acting on these issues For Action Project: - joined the VoteEuropa campaign to encourage people from different ethnic backgrounds to vote - only 18% of people with ethnic minority backgrounds voted in the previous European Parliament elections - designed, filmed, and distributed a 'call to action' from people with ethnic minority backgrounds, speaking about why voting in the European Parliamentary elections has a real impact in their lives and communities Show less
