Fiona worked at MISCO during the summer of 2005. She is a great team player and integrated easily with all members of staff. She works efficiently and accurately and it was a pleasure to have her on our team.

Our offices have been moved to the Malta Communications Authority conducting the same job. Projects : - The ICTforALL scheme offered participants the opportunity to experience different ICT applications and to learn how to apply these in their everyday life. The scheme entitled individuals aged years 25 to follow ICT training courses. The initiative was intended to induce more adults to start using ICT for a better quality of life, to reduce the risk of social exclusion and to enhance employability. - MakingIT Personal – Joining the DOTs (digital outreach trainers). It was an ambitious scheme that was designed to tackle digital exclusion by harnessing the knowledge and experience of people who enjoy using technology and like helping friends and family. The MCA was a partner in this project and there were usually exchanges between Malta and South Yorkshire to obtain the adequate information in order to localize the DOTs in Malta. - BeSmartOnline! Phase 3 and Phase 4 – It is a national initiative that concerts the efforts of various national stakeholders working towards the establishment of a Safer Internet Centre in Malta. This project is co-funded by the European Union through the Safer Internet Programme which aims at empowering and protecting children and teens online from risks associated with online activity, through numerous awareness raising initiatives and by fighting illegal and harmful content and behaviour online.
