I joined Ingenium Archial (formerly Smc Hugh Martin in 2007 quickly gaining experience in a number of sectors, in particular city centre commercial property. I have been involved in major commercial, retail, leisure and hotel developments both in city centres and edge of town locations. These fully reflect the practical experience I have gained over the 5 years working at Archial. They have combined strategic master planning with detailed design interior, retail fit-out, listed buildings and phased management within occupied buildings. In two projects I have gained experience in achieving a BREEAM Excellent Certification. Due to increased work load within the Dubai office of Archial's sister company NORR, I volunteered to undertake a nine week work secondment at the end of 2011. During the nine weeks I spent the majority of my time working on two projects in Tehran; Tat Bank HQ and the Tat Mall. Both projects were within RIBA work stages B-D. My main responsibilities were to prepare revised drawings for client presentations and liaise with structural & M/E consultants to aid in the development of the designs.
