In 1997 i was headhunted to join Y&R Sydney by then Head of Television, Donna Sizer, after i left the Palace. We were a small team under Creative Director, Saun Brannigan. I was engaged on a freelance basis as my departure from the Palace was intended to commence a year of independent travel. The opportunity was too good to miss and i worked with the team at Y&R for over a year. In this time i produced television and radio commercials for The Smiths Snackfood Company, Schweppes.

The Campaign Palace was one of Australia's most respected Advertising Agencies. At the forefront of Advertising in Australia. In the 1990's when i joined the agency it was the leading company in it's field. it was this cutting edge approach to creativity and production that established my skills for meticulous client collaboration, fine attention to all areas of production: budgeting, timing, production & execution. We worked with every senior Film Director in the country & overseas. I was also asked to join the Palace by then CEO, Reg Bryson and Creative Director, Lionel Hunt at a time when there was a policy for "not hiring juniors". So whilst i was initially engaged as the Office Junior, very swiftly this role grew to encompass working across all areas of this award winning and creatively inspiring agency in account management, strategy and planning and television production where my real passion lay. I joined the Television Department in 2005 and worked up to becoming a Producer across radio, television and cinema for clients such as Westpac, Daewoo, The Australian Meat & Livestock Corporation and Selleys Australia. I left to follow a dream to travel but was then head hunted to Y&R Sydney.
