-I am responsible for the management and motivation of my pharmacy team, to achieve the goals that are set out for us and also to set challenging but achievable objectives for all team members.-These goals are decided by such items as retail figures, rx items, generic and pi figures, margin, working hours, store standards, stock control, cash management and more.-I must ensure that the store is in comliance with company and statutory regulations.-I encourage team development by coaching, encouraging and delagating.-Most importantly I must ensure our customers are satisfied, this is done by providing great customer service, providing products that our customers what to buy, providing advice that benefits our customers and providing a service that our customers wish to return to.

-This was a new opening, so a huge part of my role was to build up new working relationships with new patients, local doctors, nurses, secretaries and local businesses, we did this successfully. -My role involved the selling of otc products to customers while providing them with accurate and helpful information on symptoms and products. -Dispensing of patient medication accurately in line with regulatory and company poilcies under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. -Stock control and cash management duties also played a big part of my role. -On two seperate occasions I had the opportunity to be acting Manager when my manager was on leave for longer periods of time. -I also had the role of Area Rejects Expert, whereby I went out to stores, helping them to reduce outstanding rejects for payment and also coaching these dispensary teams in the prevention of future rejects.
