Achievements and responsibilities: • Function planning and management • Advertised for, interviewed and trained new staff and managed the payroll for all Front of House staff. I employed 100 plus new staff every year for our restaurants and event work • Responsible for budgeting, wages, contract management, security clearance and accounting • Every staff member had to have specific clearances for many of the historic homes, palaces and state building we worked in and also due to the clientele we looked after such as royalty and politicians • On a weekly basis booked up to 300 staff into events for the following week. Maintained the HR files and records with up to date contracts and personal information • Managed the logistics for the uniforms, equipment, transport arrangements and payroll for these staff. I was also their line manager, so if there was a grievance I would manage the procedure from both sides depending on the issue raised
