Worked for Make@UEA, a production company ran by the university's film department, working on the project 'Macbett', filming and editting together a play performed by a french acting group. This entailed communicating with the director and actors, filming the play on several nights and transferring and editing the footage using Avid. • Head of Factual
      • Mar 2012 - Mar 2013

In March 2012 I was voted Head of Factual and began to work on developing the department which included creating news and factual projects in addition to working with other departments to cover large filming duties. Alongside the president and producer of the television channel and UEA's television studio technicians I created the news-magazine style show, 'Viewpoint' which was filmed and broadcast every fortnight and covered news topics relating to the students and events at the University of East Anglia. Furthermore, I wrote, directed and edited the 'Welcome to UEA' videos to show the new students coming to the university the entertainment and education facilities, with the intention to give a 'students perspective'. In addition, I created links with the university newspaper, Concrete, to film corresponding videos reports with the publications headlines, creating 'voxpops' that would be published to the newspaper's online website, also generating a larger audience for UEA:TV's work. Moreover, my duties were also to help with filming in other departments which included working on our Digital Phone Company phone reviews, as both a presenter and a videographer, in addition to helping film UEA:TV's large coverage of the annual sports event 'Derby Day' working at a high pace environment to edit footage and publish it within hours.
