Working primarily with clients in EMEA, as Senior Project Manager, I manage the day-to-day interactions and expectations for projects. Spending time with the client to understand their business and process that will allow the designing of a system to meet their needs. Generally managing all aspects from discovery, through build/cycles, testing and close out. Anticipating client needs and proposing solutions. From a technical aspect there is building and configuring of the client instances, trouble shooting issues and helping design and spec new solutions within the platform. Providing training at all levels of the software to our clients covering programme teams, finance teams, grants management teams and administrators. Working with the Fluxx teams sharing lessons learned and best practices. Helping to create new tools, best practices, documentation and creative ways to employ and engage distributed teams on projects. A key part of the position is growing long-term relationships with our clients so that we can continue to learn and ensure the software develops, and will continue to develop to meet our clients growing needs. Fluxx is continually working to enhance the product and its offerings. In conjunction with the Fluxx sales team the role also requires following up on sales leads, demos and Q&A. The role includes travel to our head office in San Francisco and also travel to client sites as needed.

Focusing on the best strategic alignment of IT and delivery of best fit IT to ensure the continuation of a high level of service while maintaining and offering multiple systems needed as office and IT team numbers shrink. This was to take advantage of an opportunity that had arisen for a Service Engineer for Salmatec International equipment in Ireland to provide support, primarily at Glanbia provender mills (then Avonmore), on the service and maintenance of the Salmatec and other associated mill equipment. Marfin Ltd. grew in size to 20+ staff in a few years and during large projects we utilised sub-contractors to expand the team even further.
