  During this exciting summer job I got to work with an amazing team of internationally renowned scientists in the field of wilderness mapping from the University of Leeds. Supported by multiple Icelandic NGOs, we carried out an extensive public awareness raising campaign on the importance of wilderness as well as mapping an important wilderness area in the Icelandic highlands.
