2018-I was part of the chassis sub-group which involved producing a chassis using advanced composite manufacturing techniques and high-performance composite materials to produce a component suitable for use in a Formula SAE competition 2019-I was Chassis manufacture leader: This involved both resource and administrative management skills, in order to produce efficient deadlines for my team to ensure deadlines were met and quality control of the final products was maintained. The chassis team is involved in manufacturing not just the chassis, but any composites parts that are present on the car. I was also heavily involved in a design effort for composite suspension arms for the car. 2020-I am involved in the electrical manufacture subgroup, which involves manufacture and assembly of various PCB's, wiring the cable harness/loom, and assembly of all other aspects of the powertrain system of the car. I am also heavily involved in design of the 2021 powertrain system as well as research and development for new potential technologies to add onto the car. The systems I am designing and researching include: Regenerative braking capabilities, composite accumulator/battery housing, new motor packages, advanced launch control systems 2021: Low-Voltage Design Leader: Responsible for design and management of all Low-Voltage systems on the car including data acquisition sensors, data logging, vehicle control systems, PCB design and regenerative braking capabilities.
