      I am currently preparing for my honors thesis which will focus on the efficient market hypothesis in relation to cognitive load. Ideal markets should quickly and effectively spread price information throughout a population. Arbitrage opportunities should be utilized and then become priced into the equilibrium. However, truly perfect markets require a long list of impossible assumptions and therefor rarely exist in the real world.       I worked with at-risk teenagers who were assigned to the program as an alternative to time on probation or in juvenile detention. This program effectively decreases the rates of recidivism in Flagstaff and surrounding communities by taking a rehabilitative approach to justice. As an attorney, I represented either the prosecution or the defense. The goal of the trial was not to determine guilt or innocence but rather to determine just "punishment."
