I have had the chance to have Filippo in my team at Barcelona Mobile World Capital. During that time I have seen many examples of his talent and have long been impressed by his diligence and work ethic. Filippo is an outstanding professional with an international background and expertise in social & economic project development. His past experiences working in different countries and several types of organisations have strengthened his strategy business criteria, organizational skills and multiple ability to succeed. He is a reliable, trustworthy and hard worker and I would have no doubt in recommending Filippo to whom it may concern. Regards Enrique Nimo

Evaluated the EU agricultural product quality policies of the Common Agricultural Policy for 2007-2013, through both desktop and field research, by interviewing regional experts and producer organisations. The study analyses the application of measures N°132 and N°133 of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for the 2007-2013 programming period within the overall context of the EU food quality policy (Geographical Indications and Organic Farming). During this period I also followed the activities related to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and Quality Policy reforms, including parliamentary ones. On various occasions I presented my organisation’s vision about the future of the CAP, stressing the role of food quality differentiation strategies. Part of the work involved liaising with regional administrations and providing them with relevant information on the ongoing reform process and on the EU policies. I assisted AREPO's Secretary General in proposing some amendments for the Report on "Agricultural product quality policy: what strategy to follow?" (2009/2105(INI)), which were adopted by the European Parliament by a large majority. Such activities allowed me to deepen my knowledge about European institutions and Community policies, for instance regarding the EU budget, structural funds and the co-decision mechanism. Show less

Conducted mission in the field so as to report about opportunities for business linkages between large and small enterprises in agribusiness and ecotourism in the Dominican Republic. This report gave a concise but comprehensive assessment of the agribusiness (e.g. coffee, honey and vanilla) and ecotourism sectors, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Furthermore, the report presented a list of domestic and foreign firms suitable for participation in the Empretec and in the Business Linkages programme, which I contacted and liaised with. Alongside secondary sources of information this report drew upon field work conducted through surveying various stakeholders, from farmers to representatives of public institutions, from technicians to firms.
