The internship work consisted in the application of a measurement technique called Hot-Wire Anemometry for the characterization of the turbulence field and the boundary layer at the inlet of a transonic Low-Pressure Turbine linear cascade. The tasks and responsibilities I was accounted for were: - Leading of the Hot-Wire Anemometry experimental campaign for turbulence measurements. - Design and arrange the experimental setup and providing a know-how guide for the management of the instrumentation. - Calibration of the instrumentation and the probes. - Supervise and planning the Hot-Wire measurements. - Work synergically in a highly skilled team. - Developing and writing efficient and automatized numerical code for the reduction and the post-processing of the data. - Give a scrutiny of the findings and expose the results. - Write a detailed and informative report on the project, including motivations, objective, experimental setup and results.
