During my years as head of Corporate Relations at NTK, I had the great opportunity to work with Filippa. Filippa is a person who is not uncomfortable to take difficult decisions, good at supporting and lead their coworkers to defined goals and has a positive personality. Uniaden 2008 became one of the most successful trade fairs in the history of Umeå University thanks to Filippa’s leadership skills and creativity. Filippa is also a good listener and a strong support. Thanks to that I had the great opportunity to sit in the same room with her for a year I was greatly inspired by her work.

During the preparations for Uniaden 2008 I reported directly to Filippa. Our group consisted of 11 people with different types of main chores. Filippa is in my opinion a person to whom leading comes naturally. She is focused, positive and has a great ability to see to every individual's needs. Running a big and diverse project, at every time Filippa knew what needed to be done. This allowed the group to stay on a clear course, giving us extra time to focus on the details and even creating new projects altogether. By seeing to each person's strenghts and needs, Filippa was able to give us freedom and responsability in carrying out the given chores and contribute with good new ideas. By following Filippa's example we encouraged one another, worked hard and enjoyed doing it. The group spirit and morale was very high, which is hard to accomplish without good leadership.
