I'm working as a software developer and architect for our new systems for NDT testing of materials. Most of our applications have to communicate with DAQ hardware, some PLC which provides motion controll and in our most recent projects, we commonly use motion system 6-axis robotic arms from Fanuc. The complexity sometimes lies in pairing correct UT Data with position and then providing the correct visual output for the operator. My work as an architect is to create versatile but simple architecture which will be easily applicated to most of our systems. Show less

Most of the time I've spent on debugging one of our test stations in LabVIEW. The last project on which I was working was a semi-automatic tester for up to 50 USB memory cards. I was working on new hardware and software for our scientists. My biggest project there was a control system for 2D Capillary Electrophoresis, we were developing software with my colleague and the biggest task there was to develop an I2C protocol for FPGA on sbRIO. The main issue was changing direction on one of the wires to transfer or receive data. My single project was a 2D vision system for tracking of mouses in a maze to compare their behaviour based on a specific situation. I've also spent some time with the layout of 2-layer PCBs and after that with the manual mounting process of them. Show less
