To provide administration support and operational delivery of all events & conferences; these include being the first point of contact for potential customers and providing information and guidance for the client in order to obtain accurate event specifications. This could be internal University staff or external Companies. On a daily basis I meet and greet customers to ensure that all programmes / meetings run effectively and deal with issues as they arise, I also operate the electronic Guestline booking system. I coordinate and process accommodation forms from national and international delegates and make travel arrangements when necessary, i.e. The Wolpertinger 2010 Conference. I have organised the VIP Launch to celebrate the opening of Môn Hall, introducing a further 40 bedrooms into a busy conferencing and accommodation facility. I was also highly involved in the Launch of Bangor Business School’s new Centre in London which is the first University to introduce an MBA in Banking and Finance. The Management Centre organises and administrates Bangor University Business Club. As part of my role I arrange training programmes, business support and networking events for members, I also produce handbooks & information packs for delegates that attend our courses. I work closely with Bangor Business School and often deal with International students. In 2009 I liaised with the Abu Dhabi Embassy and assisted with the arrangements for the Royal Graduation Ceremony, this taught me to understand different cultures and their requirements / needs.
