  My role as Literature and Science Festival Co-Ordinator is varied and involves working with many different areas of the organisation. Working across two festival teams requires great time management, organisation and a calm and efficient manner. I work as part of both the Literature and Science Festival teams providing important administrative support and carry out a number of processes to ensure the smooth running of the festivals. The role also involves programming, planning and scheduling events for both festivals, this includes expanding the offering for free events at the festivals and curating events with a range of formats. Liaising with speakers, publishers and agents I show brilliant people skills and am confident in meeting the requests of our guests to the festivals.This role also involves key support to the operations team on the ground during festivals.
