I like to use my creative skills to build and evaluate software. Back in Inoa as a software developer, I interact powerfully with our customers to capture their needs and bring them to the team. This mix of software coding and human interaction is something I love. During seven years, I had the opportunity to help turn AlphaTools into the most incredible software for Asset management. In 2016, we had four clients and only five people on the team. By the time I left, we had more than 50 clients and almost 30 people working together in perfect harmony. After some time working with music as a hobby, I decided to take a step further. I spent some months building a recording studio myself. I could say I'm able to create new Linkedin positions like "build walls", "shape wood", "arrange electric wiers", and "improve the acoustic environment"... But those days are behind now! haha After this period of building the studio, I started to record a few talented independent artists from Brazil. A big step, professionally speaking. I became a partner of a great startup and worked with an incredible team of developers, analysts, and partners. All of them are from Rio de Janeiro Federal University. I worked at one of our clients at the time, "Ingresso.com". Ingresso is one of the most effective online ticket services in Brazil. They are also responsible for running and maintaining movie theater systems. My main job was to create solutions and write use cases for development. By that year, they were re-writing their role systems in all areas. I contributed to 3 different departments inside Ingresso and learned a lot because of that, as I had to keep a reaaally busy and, still, productive agenda. Coffee times! Show less

A great experience. Top researchers from Rio de Janeiro Federal University were in the project. That was when I truly realized the importance of engineering concepts in software development. It was a massive system with many people working on it in remote teams. Well, I feel glad to have participated and learned from those people. It represented an essential change in my way of thinking. My main and successful goal was to build a "Medical Prescription" module where doctors would benefit from the system's knowledge to get their job done more securely by preventing communication flaws and keeping track of all the patient's records inside the hospital. I was thrilled with my results and tried to build an expansible intelligence module to increase the possibilities for the system. Unfortunately, the project didn't have enough stakeholders to provide de information necessary to create the intelligence we all want in medical software. Show less

Although I enjoyed that experience, I had just started college and couldn't conciliate. Rio is a city with substantial urban transportation challenges. We hope it changes after 2016 olympics!
