The PCS Pet Project of Italy, Volunteer Organization

Vice President, Co-Founder, Volunteer

Jul 2014 - Present
The PCS Pet Project of Italy was founded to help PCSing families transport their pets between the airport and military base. Unfortunately Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, offers very limited transportation for pets, and many families have no way to get to or from base. That's where we come in. My duties include: Assisting with startup research and paperwork for approval of a non-profit organization on an OCONUS military base. Attending all meetings and participating in organization decisions. Designing organization website and keeping it up to date. Organizing and volunteering for all fundraisers and events. Coordinating between volunteers and families in need of transportation. Occasional transportation for families with their pets. Managing the organization's calendar.
