Fernando is the IP & Digital Group Executive Partner, co-head partner of IP Transactions practice and partner with the Firm’s Information, Communication & Technology practice. With a Law degree and three years attendance of a Mechanical Engineering degree, Fernando has a capacity for deep understanding of technology matters and thus adds value as a legal advisor in clients' business in the field of technology and adjacent areas. He has a vast consulting experience and has been involved in several transactions, in Portugal and abroad -and regularly takes part as invited speaker in conferences and seminars- mainly focused on information and communication technologies, outsourcing, cloud computing, privacy, intellectual property and emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain, Nanotechnology, IoT, Big Data, Fintech and Autonomous Vehicles).
