3-week internship at Tatarelli Consulting, where I joined the friendly team and learned many new skills including creating tax packs for lower level clients, how to efficiently work well in a team and under pressure and time-constraints in a business environment. I think this experience provided me with a solid foundation of what it is like to work in a professional environment and meeting day-to-day requirements, staying busy throughout a 9-5 day. 3-week internship at Tatarelli Consulting, where I joined the friendly team and learned many new skills including creating tax packs for lower level clients, how to efficiently work well in a team and under pressure and time-constraints in a business environment. Was privileged enough to be chosen to participate in the inaugural UniSA Tax Clinic based on my previous success in the 'Taxation Law' course at UniSA. The tax clinic was centred around providing advice on basic accounting and taxation laws to the general public, with the guidance of a CPA approved accountant. Tasks involved with this process were meeting with clients, assessing their situation based on what information and data they had given us, and advising them how to fill out their own tax return. This doesn't sound like much but their was often complex situations in which we would have to review the clients file and get back to them once we had figured out a solution. Show less
