      • Luksic Scholar: Received a grant to develop Hurtado Project between Universidad Católica de Chile and Boston College.• Research and translation of texts on social justice in Latin America with Law professor Scott FitzGibbon. We applied and were awarded the major grant from the Institute for the Liberal Arts at Boston College to study social justice works in Latin America and organize a conference. The project is focused on studying manuscripts of Alberto Hurtado, a social justice advocate during the 40’s and 50’s in Chile and a Catholic saint. The project includes:• a) translations of some of Alberto Hurtado’s manuscripts;• b) managing the print publication of those translations (contracts, permits, publisher); • c) organizing and conducting a two-day conference for more than 30 professors worldwide;• d) publication of a book of some of the papers presented at the conference; and• e) development of a web page to make this research widely available.
