      The name of the project is Direktas Regulator and HEPP ( 7.7 MWm). The project consists of regulator, transmission tunnel, transmission line and powerhouse. The regulator consists of a water intake structure, a settling basin, a spillway, a fishway and a gravel passage. With the help of a regulator (from 1071 m elevation), the water is conveyed to the transmission tunnel (7% inclination and 4x4 dimensions) then the water passes through the GRP pipe (1240 m long) which is resistant to 12 bar pressure, after that the water arrives the Steel penstock (60 m long). Finally, it is transmitted to the powerhouse where the three vertical Francis turbines are located (The Elevation of the powerhouse is 940 meters). 85% of the project has been completed Show less
