      Workshop in Data Processing and Artificial IntelligenceThis workshop aims to develop theoretical and practical knowledge related to the analysis and processing of digital images. The major goals are based on mastering the fundamentals concepts, such as color images representation, image filtering, image quality improvement, multi-resolution analysis, and detection and extraction of image features. Besides, learning image processing techniques through practice by deploying known algorithms in the field will be highlighted. The knowledge acquired during this workshop will be demonstrated by investigating two main themes, which are features extraction using wavelet and reconstruction of the Histogram by Gaussians.       Title : MODAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF ANTENNAS FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS Brief Description: In this thesis, the research is turning around the analysis and design of biomedical antennas with the Theory of Characteristic Modes. CMs and their properties will be analyzed in order to design antennas which can ensure an efficient wireless power transfer efficiency. A systematic method to obtain the required characteristics of the antenna will be implemented during this work. Several techniques will be proposed in order to enhance the coupling between the transmitting and the receiving antennas. Furthermore, to reach straightforward maximization of the modal power transfer efficiency, the focus of this study is analyzing the impact of the separation distance and the overlapping between the different antennas.
