During this period, I have been assigned to several projects. I was responsible for quality control and assessing whether the software is ready to ship. My tasks were reviewing and analyzing requirements, identifying risks and prioritizing them based on their impacts and probabilities. I then designed, implemented my test cases (also in gherkin), executed them and reported the findings to team and stakeholders. I automated and maintained the test scripts with SOAPUI, Java and SQL. I facilitated and participated daily scrum activities such as sprint planning, stand-up and retrospective meetings. I also regularly organised demonstrations for new features and presented them to stakeholders with slides and in live test environment. Furthermore, I participated several major releases at midnight, and was responsible to perform test after release and report to the test manager. I regularly setup the test environment with the prototype of the new features and invited users to try it out. I improved my HTML5, CSS, Javascript, SQL and .NET framework knowledge in my free time to perform static analysis on the code and I was able to find about 30% defects without running the software. During these 7 years, I have coached 3 trainees. As a senior tester, I regularly reviewed the work of our junior testers and helped them to improve their work. I also introduced session-based exploratory test to the organization and I organised test-lunches and workshops to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience. In addition, I regularly participated the company knowledge sharing evenings and events in my free time.
