Simulation: ● Create vehicle model in Gazebo to simulate the motion control ● Built photo eye models in Solidworks and imported them to V-REP to simulate the distance sensors and reflective sensors ● Create different challenging scenarios that are similar to real world scenarios in V-REP to enable the researchers to test machines ● Developed the mixed box stacking algorithm to build the box stacking pile with various random boxes Object Detection: ● Develop novel methodologies for autonomous navigation using 3D and 2D sensing units.
