Angus (Sheng-yi) Kong
Feng and I worked together in EVYD from Oct 2021 until I left EVYD in Mar 2022. Feng was a great data science and data engineering leader. He has a strong engineering experience and solid data science knowledge. He joined to lead the data office with team members in Singapore and Brunei. His management style enabled the team to grow rapidly and to actively take challenges. The challenges the team was facing was on the data quality side. Uncontrollable data issues kept coming from external data sources and impacting the applications. He led the team to set up process for the team to manage the workload and kept working on key initiatives. The team also learned from him a lot on software engineering and data science. We together witnessed the significant growth of several key team members and he grew those potential leaders to be able to step up and own tough problems. I was really glad to see a strong IC transforming to a good team leader. It's a great experience working with Feng.
