  I am part of a project that is concerned with classifying cortical diversity on single cell level. We and our collaborators aim to develop a “brain atlas” of all known cells in the human cortex based on multiple modalities. To this end we use the Patch-seq method (combination of whole-cell patch-clamp and subsequent nucleus extraction and sequencing) and morphological reconstruction.
