  Main duties include: • Teaching all ages from primary through to A-level standard in either individual lessons or small groups and leading whole classes of up to 60 students from a variety of backgrounds. • Conducting and running the Croydon Youth Winds Orchestra and Croydon Brass Group as well as performing many of my own arrangements and transcriptions. Running the Croydon Centre for Young Pianists with regular concerts at the Fairfield Halls. • Acting as the primary liaison between CMA and schools. Leading meetings and training sessions, demonstrating excellent organisation and communicative skills. • Running and conducting other smaller orchestras and jazz groups on both trombone and piano. Successfully accompanying students of all ages and grades on piano. Attending tours with CMA to Holland and Belgium. • Giving lectures in composition, transcription and general music theory. Skills include leadership, timetabling, communication with schools and parents, preparation for exams, computer skills and composing/arranging music. Show less
