The main responsibility of Relationship Manager is to manage a Portfolio of clients under Corporate Investment Banking / Public Sector, to ensure client retention and portfolio growth. Responsibilities include: 1. Responsible for all business with assigned clients under Corporate and Investment Banking/Public Sector. 2. To acquire new customers and work to deepen existing customer relationships to grow own portfolio 3. Responsible for Liability and Asset Management under assigned portfolio 4. Responsible for all GRZ and Quasi Government business in my assigned area 5. Responsible for all business with NGOs, Donors and other cooperating partners with Government of the day in my assigned area. 6. Responsible for all Commercial Banking business in my assigned area 7. Cross selling the bank’s products and services, acquiring new business through aggressive marketing and enhancing customer loyalty. 8. Negotiating foreign exchange and credit rates with customers, within the Bank's set limits to ensure profit maximization. 9. Plan and execute weekly Marketing activities and make call reports to the Senior Relationship Manager 10. Identifying and understanding customer needs and continuously ensuring that the bank’s delivery 11. process is adequate to meet our customers’ needs. 12. Structure credit facilities to respond to customers’ needs 13. Prepare credit proposals (papers) and submit to Director Corporate and Investment Banking 14. Monitoring the performance of Credit facilities ensuring that customers comply with credit agreements. 15. Participate in the annual departmental strategy planning. 16. Overall responsible for customer satisfaction across own portfolio client base 17. Ensuring policies and procedures are administered consistently and in accordance with departmental business plan.
