I have been performing in shows since I was young and I always really enjoyed the transformative ability of stage make up in creating a character. This interest in how make up can completely change a face has recently been reinvigorated by my interest in drag queens. I have been interested in the drag world’s use of lots of strong make up to; in a way create a new person. I have also been fascinated by how trends in drag make up seem to precede and predict trends in the main stream make up industry, extreme contouring for example. I began teaching myself how to do make up in 2016 and I am now frequently enlisted to make up my friends for various events. I think that the opportunity to work for a make up brand would be very creatively fulfilling for me, and give me a chance to develop my craft. I also believe that I would be good at working for a cosmetics company. I am very good at delivering on deadlines and completing any task put before me to the highest of standards. I also keep up with popular culture and trends and believe that I have the artistic ability to work for a cosmetics brand.
