I developed resources to supplement the curriculum, and challenge and engage my students. ♦ Within six months, five of my students skipped ahead two levels in their reading. ♦ Selected to be part of the first team to open a new campus, I developed marketing plans to build the client base and recruit quality teachers. I went beyond the curriculum to find and develop additional resources and activities to engage and encourage my students. ♦ 30% of my students graduated out of the ESL program at the end of the year, and are now thriving in regular classes. No students had graduated the year before. ♦ I co-led the ESL afterschool program, organizing the teachers and planning the weekly lessons.
