Felicia is one of the most passionate and intelligent people I have met on the topic of volunteerism and not-for-profit work. She also has a vision that is ahead of its time for many organization. Felicia embodies the idea of servant leadership. She not only gained my respect during our time working together, but I also witnessed the respect she received from her team.

Meeting Felica Chapman was a defining moment in my career path. Felica hired me as a special events volunteer when she was The Community Services Coordinator with Calgary Outlink (formerly Gay & Lesbian Community Services Association (GLCSA) )and had worked with her also when she was the Volunteer Program Leader at the SHARP Foundation, Volunteer Coordinator for Canada Day Festivities with the city of Calgary and the Community Resource Centre (CRC) Volunteer Connector with Carya (formerly Calgary Family Services). From the moment I meet Felica, I knew I was working with a professional. She shared with me the vision of the work and the mission she was trying to accomplish. Watching Felica work with her team on how she trained and developed them was eye-opening to me. I saw how she managed people, and she shared her vision with them. Working with Felica for over 11 years was a great experience, I look forward to working with her again

Felicia can "hit the ground running" like nobody else I've ever met. Not only does she quickly grasp both the big picture and smallest details when presented with large, complex event projects, but she also manages to wrap her head around the interpersonal dynamics of the team at the same time. She handles both task-related and interpersonal challenges with poise and grace, and always finds a way both to achieve performance goals and maintain and enhance working relationships.
