Taking calls for Verizon Wireless Customer Care has taught me patience and persistence. My job was essentially to make people happy in less than 3 minutes, and that wasn’t always an easy task when customers would call with upset with their service. I would have to quickly come up with a resolution and apply it to the customer account accordingly, without leaving them on hold for extended times and keeping pleasant conversation going.
