Constant care and attention to newborn piglets off to ensure the best start possible. This would be achieved by assisting sows during farrowing, drying pigs off, split nursing large litters, and giving extra attention to piglets that are slow to nurse. After 24 hrs large litters would get properly fostered to a different sow. Any piglets that were not doing well would be given extra attention until doing well. After a whole farrowing room reaches 3 days old the main farrowing employees would take over the normal care.
