Haziq Yazid
I have worked with Felicia on many occasions – in study groups for undergraduate classes, in event management for UTP's SPE Student Chapter, for UTP's Science and Engineering Design Exhibition, and more recently in various petroleum engineering competitions. Felicia is a well-rounded team player, excelling in various skills. I saw her dedication firsthand in various study sessions, as when others would take a break when encountering an obstacle, she would forge ahead until a she dragged a solution out. One such example was during our reservoir simulation class when she was able to find a solution for some high level derivations for multiphase flows. Her dedication and loyalty can be seen through her participation in the organizing committee in 6 iterations of SEDEX, culminating in the position of Assistant Project Director of SEDEX 41. In this event, she successfully supervised several departments, including successfully implementing a full digital transition for the critical adjudication workflow. Her skill in reservoir simulation needs no introduction, having been selected as a reservoir simulation engineer intern in CMG. Her skills in reservoir simulation shone through in the Plan of Development competitions that we joined, where her skill in this department carried our team to two first place finishes. Coupled with her strong memory and fast reactions. UTP bagged many victories in PetroBowl-related competitions. As a colleague, competitor, and good friend, I highly recommend Felicia to any team. She will be a strong asset and contribute to a healthy team environment.
