      EMV is an initiative by the Australian Marketing Institute, that aims to assist young marketers and marketing students in launching successful careers. This is achieved through the organising of networking and panel events, engaged social media communities, and most famously, through the annual Mentoring Program. The EMV committee, which is responsible for all activities, is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers.Highlights:* Visited universities and held multiple presentations in front of students to spark interest in EMV’s annual Mentoring Program and converted over 80 new leads.* Identified the lack of process documentation of the event management and planning process, as well as communication issues during the event execution. Researched, evaluated, and implemented a project management system to consolidate all communications, updated process documentation, and to create one source of truth regarding project progress.* Took turns managing the committee’s social communities, helped plan and execute the social media calendar, and designed and authored posts to promote upcoming EMV events. Created and managed a social media campaign with a $0 budget for our content marketing event, doubling the amount of tickets sold in just 2 weeks.
