Operations: Maintain day-to-day operations including directing operations and program/project management, managing budget revenues, expenditures, and creating budget projections, supervising staff, creating policies, procedures, operational manuals and resource guides, and monitoring, tracking data, and evaluating program/project efficiency and effectiveness to make recommendation for improvement. Gap In Services: Identify needs, concerns, and issues within refugee community organizations, and work with the leadership of these groups to identify resources that will assist in answering these needs, concerns, and issues on a foundational level, thus supporting empowerment and integration of the communities.  Resources would include developing partnerships, connecting to volunteers, and coordinating activities, events, workshops, and trainings.

From 2005 - 2007 I worked as an assistant supervisor on this team that assisted newly arriving refugees to Utah apply for and receive SNAP (Food Stamps), Medicaid, TANF, and childcare assistance. In 2007, I was promoted to the supervisor of the team and expanded out outreach to include people facing homelessness, Native Americans, and people in domestic violent shelters, in addition to the newly arriving refugees. I directly supervised and lead a team of 20 employees.
