      • Jul 2019 - Sep 2020

I used to work on this educational farm for students, I knew the manager from a previous agricultural job, she knew I was reliable and an asset to assist on the farm, she needed me to cover staff that were taking holiday, sickness, and out of term-time holiday cover. The reason for leaving was because my university and the farm is a long drive away and the hours were not consistent enough for it to be financially viable, however, I am still on their books and can return anytime.

      • I would receive daily calls from my manager telling me what schools are needing cover that day, I was content and confident to cover any lesson, I would arrive at the school I had been allocated, receive my registers at reception, I would then be given work in the classroom to conduct for that lesson, this role was different every day, I had to use my initiative and adapt according to the lesson.• I have covered classes in the following schools: Chatham Grammar School for girls, Rainham School for Girls, Walderslade Girls Specialist college for the Arts, Brompton Academy, Hundred of Hoo Academy, Meopham Secondary School and Staplehurst School. All these schools listed have asked me to come back when needing a teacher to cover lessons which makes me feel humbled and proud to have had these opportunities to make lessons fun, helping students enjoy their class while in my care.
