Being an associate engineer at STUDIO RONFANI S.S. Research Assistant

During my experience as a research assistant at the Energy Department (DENERG, Polytechnic of Turin) I have had the chance to deeply investigate the challenges involved in a nZEB building design (by means of an integrated optimization design approach), widening the analysis on the effects due to climate and economic change scenarios. In addition to this, in the course of a research collaboration with a large retailer of construction products, I have had the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of some energy efficiency measures applied to a reference building (representative of the existing Italian building stock), organized into ENERGY KITS composed of selected items to reduce water, electricity and natural gas consumptions.
